Helldivers 2 Resource Planning: Calculate Your Upgrade Shortfall

Use the current cost in your own game to calculate what you still need. This planner has no hardcoded currency caps or upgrade prices: it subtracts your inventory from a target requirement and keeps different resources separate.

Example showing common samples: 80 required, 95 held, zero missing; rare samples: 60 required, 25 held, 35 missing
Illustrative resource budget: common samples are sufficient; 35 rare samples are still needed.

Enter your current requirements

Every field is required. Enter zero when a resource is not needed, rather than leaving it blank. Use nonnegative whole numbers. Values stay in your browser; this calculator does not send an account balance to this website.

Enter all values, including zero for resources you do not need.

A worked example

For an illustrative upgrade needing 80 common samples and 60 rare samples, an inventory of 95 common and 25 rare gives a shortfall of zero common and 35 rare. The surplus common samples cannot be counted as rare samples. This is arithmetic, not the live cost of a named module.

Planning more than one purchase

For two upgrades you intend to buy, add their requirements by resource before comparing with your inventory. If Upgrade A needs 20 rare and Upgrade B needs 30 rare, an inventory of 35 rare leaves 15 still needed for both. Comparing each independently against the same 35 would incorrectly make both appear affordable.

Costs and caps are different

A purchase requirement tells you what an item costs. An inventory cap, where applicable, limits a balance. A list of older caps does not establish what your current client accepts or how every event handles excess rewards. The site’s former cap table lacked adequate current sources and has been removed.

Super Credits and earning limits

Arrowhead’s July 2026 currency announcement distinguished legitimate play from automation and duplication exploits. It did not provide a universal earning-rate promise. Keep that policy separate from an inventory calculation; a computed shortfall does not tell you how fast you can earn it.

Use the result to select a goal

Focus on the missing resource for the purchase you actually want. Recheck the item and balance before buying, especially after spending elsewhere. For sample collection, use the sample session planner; for unlock versus item costs, read the Warbond guide.
